Happy Easter!

The Easter Bunny visited Clark this year!

Clark received new books, a new pair of sandals, a stuffed horse, toy keys, baby food, and an Easter outfit.

One of the many reasons this Easter is so special is because it was last Easter that we told our families that we were pregnant.

It's been a joyous year.

Rolling Around Like a Mad Man

Clark rolled from front to back for the first time on January 26th, 2009. It was so funny because the first time he rolled it freaked him out! He had a look of sheer surprise and confusion on his face. 

I laughed hysterically.

Clark rolled from back to front for the first time on March 7th, 2009. Now he rolls on to his tummy every chance he gets- even in his sleep. He's now starting to scoot. He could start crawling soon. I guess I better start child-proofing the apartment!

Getting to Know Me.

Hi. My name is Clark.

I am this long.

I am happy fellow.

Well, most of the time.

If you let me, I could probably talk your ear off.

When I get really excited, I love to yelp or scream at the top of my lungs.

I like to play and sing with my mommy.

I like to take naps with my daddy.

Let the Fun Begin!

Brent and I purchased a Baby Einstein by Graco activity center for Clark on February 6th, 2009. I love this toy because it has real pictures of animals, and fruit instead of illustrations. I also love that it isn't full of flashy, loud activities.

Brent and I were so excited about the activity center that we plopped Clark in it even before I had assembled all the toys. Clark loved it immediately. He still plays with it every day and it has made both mommy and baby very happy. Clark has a great time playing while I get chores done or even exercise myself!
